Georgette Ionesco - Flute, Theory
The President of the Staten Island Conservatory of Music recieved her MM degree from the University of Music in Bucharest, Romania. Her specialty is solo and orchestra. She had the opportunity to participate at the International Summer Competition for Orchestra and Conducting, at the Music Conservatory in Vienna, Austria. Mrs. Ionesco participated at the International Competition for Wind Instruments in Markneukirchen, Germany and received a Mention Award. She received many National Awards in her native Romania. She was a member of the Romanian Philharmonic, Romanian Radio-Television Orchestra, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of the Israeli Philharmonic. She had the wonderful chance to work with famous conductors such as: Sergio Celibidache, Kurt Mazur, Stanley Sperber and Sydney Harth. In the United States, she was a member of different groups and orchestras and played concerts throughout the New York area. Georgette is an adjunct professor at Wagner College and President and CEO of Pro Musica Corporation. With Pro Musica, Mrs. Ionesco organized and also played numerous cultural-educational concerts especially on Staten Island. For her involvement in the cultural development of the community, Mrs. Ionesco was awarded by Senator Vincent Gentile.

Yelena Polyachenko - Piano, Theory
Yelena holds a MM from R. M. Glier State Musical Conservatory in Kiev, Ukraine. Since then, Yelena has taught at different music schools preparing students for recitals and competitions. She also intensively teaches music theory, ear training and solfeggio. Yelena is also a very experienced accompanist and soloist.

George Poppe - Piano, Voice, Theory
George holds a MM from Manhattan School of Music and currently is the Music Director of Saint Claire Church.
Mr. Poppe is also the music teacher for St. Claire school. George composed music for Daniel Rodriguez(the singing police officer) for his latest recording. George has composed three operas: "The Christmas Carol"(1994), "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"(1998), "The Green Knight"(2001). George has composed works for the Metro Chamber Orchestra: "Overture"(2003) and "L'Vita Nuova"(2004). George has taught in the New Jersey and New York school systems. Mr. Poppe started teaching at the Staten Island Conservatory of Music in 1996.

Marcel Rominger - Piano, Theory
The BBC hails Marcel Rominger's playing as "a performance that is equally polished, considered and characterful". Born on Long Island, NY and the son of Swiss and Brazilian immigrants, he began his musical studies at an early age and was very much influenced by the music of his background. Mr. Rominger obtained a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education and Piano Performance from the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York in Potsdam. His teachers included Olga Gross and Paul Wyse. He recieved his Masters of music from the University of Arkansas studying under renowned concert pianist Jura Margulis where he held a Graduate Assistantship in accompanying. He has also studied at the acclaimed Mannes College of Music in New York with Hugo Goldenzweig. Mr. Rominger won the 2001-2002 Crane Concerto and 2002-2003 North Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Concerto / Aria Competitions and is the recipient of the Rose L. Greenblatt Award in Piano. He was also named the 2003 MTNA Arkansas State Winner of the Young Artist Category. In 2005, Mr. Romninger was awarded an Honorable Mention at the William Garrison Competition in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to being a soloist, Mr. Rominger is active as a conductor and director. He has held conductor/director positions at the United Community Church in Tupper Lake, NY and at the First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, AR. Mr. Rominger is currently on the faculty of the Staten Island Conservatory of Music since 2005. Active as a performer, teacher and scholar, Mr. Rominger is the recipient of the CUNY Chancellor's Fellowship Award. He is currently persuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at The City University of New York Graduate Center. Recently, Mr. Rominger has made his Carnegie Hall debut.

Thomas Cintula - Guitar, Theory
Mr. Cintula received his BA from Wagner College. He is the recipient of the Music Fellowship Grant and Academic Scholarship. Tom performed many solo recitals and he plays multiple styles of guitar music.
He is experienced with students of all levels and ages. Mr. Cintula is currently completing his Master of Music degree at Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music.

Joseph Fischetti - Clarinet, Saxophone, Drums, Theory
Mr. Fischetti recieved a a BA in music and education from Wagner College and a MA in clarinet performance from Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music. He Has performed with the North/South Consonance and has given numerous solo and chamber music recitals throughout the New York area and in Europe. Mr. Fischetti is founder and member of the Diverso Ensemble, which has been in existence since 1991.
