The Staten Island Conservatory of Music was founded in 1994 and is located at the beautiful Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island, NY. We are a community music school that is modeled after the European tradition which emphasizes the highest forms of discipline and artistry in western music. While we continue this tradition, we also explore and celebrate music of all cultures and periods. Our goal is to provide a serious, well-rounded music education to students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. To achieve this, our distinguished faculty is made up of performing musicians who have graduated from the best university programs and continue to perform extensively.
